ISSUES
Education
Zack knows firsthand the transformative power of properly funded schools and the wide range of opportunities they provide to students. He will continue to fight for improved school funding to ensure our students are put in the best position to succeed. Zack will work alongside both teachers and parents to defend our public schools against forces looking to dismantle our education system.
Affordability
Inflation and cost of living are burdening our Putnam and Westchester residents. Zack will fight to ensure we maintain middle class tax cuts such as the STAR program that ensure our seniors aren’t priced out of their lifelong communities and the child tax credit to provide much deserved relief to our families. Zack will proactively support legislation to cap property taxes so our homeowners are not paying higher property taxes than New York City residents.
Environment
Zack will be a tireless fighter to ensure our Putnam and North Westchester reservoirs, lakes, and waterways remain clean and protected. Zack will proactively support legislation that aims to further protect our drinking water and crack down on polluting and illegal dumping. The same applies to our great parks.
Women's Reproductive Freedom
Zack is the only candidate in this race who stands unequivocally with women in defending their right to a safe abortion. He firmly believes that the government should never dictate what a woman can and cannot do with her body—only women should have that authority. We must ensure that we do not move backward on this crucial issue.
